S.A.D.D.I didn’t begin as a business — it started as my life.

As a single father, I learned firsthand that being a man isn’t about titles, money, or being with a woman — it’s about stepping up for your kids. There were days I felt overwhelmed, unseen, and alone, but one thing never changed: my commitment to being a father.

 

I noticed something in our communities — mothers were celebrated (and rightfully so), but fathers who stayed, sacrificed, and showed up every day often went unnoticed. The world was quick to label dads as absent, deadbeats, or replaceable. But I knew different. I knew men like me — Single American Dads Doing It.

 

One day, I wrote those words down: S.A.D.D.I — Single American Dads Doing It.
At first, it was just a personal reminder, almost like a badge of honor. But then it hit me — this wasn’t just my story. There are thousands of fathers like me who love their kids fiercely, yet don’t always get the recognition or support they deserve.

 

And then one moment truly brought it home. I saw one of my friend’s kids watching my son while he was saying, “Daddy, do this!” or “Daddy, I love you.” You could see it in her eyes — she didn’t have that same bond, because her father wasn’t around. That moment hit me deep. It reminded me how blessed my children are, because they never had to worry about me being involved. That’s when I knew — this movement mattered.

 

That’s when the vision became clear:

• Create clothing that speaks for fathers who are proud to be present.

• Build a platform that encourages responsibility, unity, and real manhood.

• Show young men that fatherhood isn’t a burden — it’s a blessing.

What started as an idea evolved into a mission: to change the narrative of fatherhood in America.
S.A.D.D.I isn’t just a brand — it’s a brotherhood, a lifestyle, and a reminder that being a father is one of the greatest honors a man can have.
